Notary Public Office is operated by two experienced individuals who are authorized by the Ontario government to notarize, certify and commission all types of documents.
We charge only $10 per document. We are affordable, quick and reliable. All major debit and credit cards are accepted.
We are located right in Downtown Ottawa with parking in front of the office building. It is also close to major bus routes. You do not need an appointment for us to attend to you if you are coming to our office between 12 noon and 6pm.
We notarize, certify or commission all types of documents at our office. We do not provide any legal advice regarding the content of your documents.
We charge only $10 per document. The fee is to notarize OR certify OR commission your document. We do not prepare the document for you.
We accept all major debit and credit card payments.
Please bring the following with you:
Two ORIGINAL pieces of VALID government issued identity documents. One of the identity document must be a valid government issued photo identity document such as Travel Passport, Driver's licence, Health Card and / or Permanent Residency Card.

Commissioners for taking Oaths (sometimes referred to as Commissioners of Oaths) take declarations by asking you to swear or affirm that what is in your document is true. A Commissioner of Oaths does not certify to the truthfulness of the contents of your document/s. He or she only administers the oath or solemn declaration and makes sure it is administered properly.
A Notary Public has all the powers of a Commissioner for taking affidavits and, can verify that signatures, marks and copies of documents are true or genuine.
A lawyer in Ontario is automatically a Commissioner of Oaths.
Yes. If rejected, we will re-do it at no cost to you. Please bring the rejected document/s with you in order for us to redo it.
It is within our sole and absolute discretion whether or not we want to notarize or commission a document. Among other things, we do not notarize or commission:
